Personal Profile

     Chen Chen, male, doctor of engineering, professor and doctoral tutor. Born in Anda, Heilongjiang Province in June 1965. In 1986, graduated from the Department of Prospecting Engineering of the Changchun Institute of Geology and stayed in school the same year. In 1991, graduated from the Department of Prospecting Engineering of the Changchun Institute of Geology. In 2001, received a Ph.D. in Geological Engineering from Jilin University. In 2005, postdoctoral work at civil engineering of Harbin Institute of Technology. He was rated as a lecturer in 1992 and was named as an associate professor in 1997. He was named as a professor in 2004 and a doctoral tutor in 2008. From 1995 to 1996, he went to St. Petersburg Institute of Mining and Technology in Russia as a visiting scholar to carry out hot lava technology research. He has published 7 books, more than 100 papers, and licensed more than 20 patents. And won second prize of National Technology Invention Award, first prize of the Ministry of Education Technology Invention Award, and two third prizes of scientific and technological achievements of the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources. Received 3 teaching achievement awards. He has lectured more than 10 doctoral, master and undergraduate courses and trained more than 60 doctors and masters. As a major participant hosted and participated in the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance's jump-up project, the Ministry of Science and International Cooperation Project, the Ministry of Science and Technology 863 Project, the Natural Science Fund Instrument Project, the Natural Science Fund Project, the Ministry of Land and Resources Public Welfare Project, and the Key Project of Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology More than 30 items. He successively hosted and participated in more than 30 key intellectual projects and general projects of the Foreign Experts Bureau as major research institutes, and visited more than 50 research institutes and related companies in more than 10 countries such as Europe and the United States. Mainly engaged in research on unconventional energy development techniques, polar construction techniques, and geotechnical engineering construction techniques. At present as the deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Complex Conditions Drilling and Mining Technology of the Ministry of Land and Resources and vice president of the College of Construction Engineering of Jilin University.

  • 油页岩地下原位钻采技术:      以油页岩资源开发利用为目标,针对不同埋深、层厚和品位油页岩资源,研究油页岩原位转化机理、油页岩层高效快速钻进、高温原位转化工艺、油页岩体积压裂等关键技术与装备。
  • 天然气水合物钻采技术:
       针对天然气水合物钻采这一世界性难题,研发水合物的钻采新方法。研究温度、压力、流体、固体应力等多场耦合作用对水合物储层性质及开采过程的影响,以及高压水射流破碎水合物技术、降压置换联合开采技术、水合物增产技术的作用机理与过程。
  • 岩石破碎新技术:
       研发适用范围广、自动化程度高、高效的岩石破碎新技术,进一步丰富水射流法、热熔法、冻融法、风力破碎法理论,提高破岩效率。

Research Group

   研究团队十余年来一直从事油页岩勘探评价工作,近年来在油页岩地下原位开采实验也取得初试成功,承担了国家973项目、863国家高技术研究发展计划课题、国家科技重大专项、部级项目、国家自然科学基金、省级项目以及横向其它项目七十余项。获省部级一等奖3项,二等奖3项,三等奖8项,其中“中国油页岩资源勘查重大突破及其高附加值值利用技术”获中国石油和化工科技进步一等奖(2012年)、“中国油页岩资源勘查及综合利用技术”获吉林省科学技术一等奖(2012年)、“大庆探区外围中-新生代盆地群演化与油气远景”获吉林省科学技术进步一等奖(2011年)。有些重大课题如国家重大专项“全国油页岩资源评价”等成果达到国际领先水平。
  研究团队自2003年开始从事天然气水合物钻采的研究工作。在科技部国际专项、中国外专局、中国地质调查局等相关部门资助下,完成了大量的水合物钻采研究工作,其中包括天然气水合物孔底冷冻取样、水合物钻井泥浆冷却系统、水合物样品低温高压保样系统、水合物岩样地表快速冷冻装置等研究。其中,在天然气水合物开采方面,脉冲蒸汽热激发法开采装置,已于2011 年在青藏高原木里盆地进行了冻土区天然气水合物试开采,并取得成功。项目组先后发表了相关方面的SCI 论文10余篇,授权发明专利10多件。依托“复杂条件钻采技术国土资源部重点实验室”中的天然气水合物合成、天然气水合物置换开采、钻孔水力开采等多个实验室,具备较完整的实验研究条件。
研究团队成员均来自吉林大学,所属的地质资源与地质工程学科是一级学科、国家重点学科,具备较完整的实验研究条件。依托“国土资源部复杂条件钻采技术重点实验室”、“吉林大学极地研究中心”的相关的试验场所和试验条件,包括低温实验室、钻井液实验室、冰钻及基岩取芯钻进室外实验基地、冷冻工作室、真三轴水力压裂实验系统等。团队成员具有丰富的极地冰钻的现场经验及理论研究水平,能够熟练使用Abaqus、RFPA、Ansys 等与极地冰钻相关的软件,掌握较完整的模拟研究技巧。
