Kunyang Wang, graduated from the University of Manchester, is currently a lecturer at the Key Laboratory of Bionic Engineering, Ministry of Education, Jilin University, and also an assistant of Professor Luquan Ren (a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, CAS). Dr. Wang has been engaged in the research fields of biomechanics, bionic robots and bionic healthcare engineering for a long time. He has been selected as a member of "The Chinese Postdoctoral International Exchange Program" and "The Fifth Jilin Province Youth Scientific and Technological Talent Support Program". He is a member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the Chinese Association of Automation, the International Society of Bionic Engineering, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Dr. Wang has published 17 SCI papers in the past three years, applied 3 international invention patents and 17 Chinese invention patents, proposed 1 provincial technical invention first prize, and won the second prize of the First International Bionic Innovation Competition.
Dr. Wang is the principal investigater of several projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Department of Science and Technology of Jilin Province, and Jilin Association for Science and Technology.
