Jiangtao QiProfessor, Ph.D. SupervisorVisiting scholar of McGill UniversityDeputy director of Jilin Provincial Mechanized Conservation Tillage Research CenterE-mail: qijiangtao@jlu.edu.cn Mainly engages in the research on “bionic innovative design of agricultural machinery”, “autonomous navigation agricultural equipment”, and “agricultural artificial intelligence”. He has presided over 2 projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, and more than 10 projects supported by National Key R&D Program of China or China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, published over 20 technical papers (SCI/EI papers), obtained 33 authorized national invention patents, applied for and disclosed 21 national invention patents, and obtained 1 software copyright. He teaches the undergraduate students the courses of “Fundamentals of Control Engineering” and “Bionic Robots”, and the postgraduate students the course of “Application of Image Processing Technology in Agriculture”, etc. Candidates are expected to be interested in scientific research in terms of mechanical engineering, agricultural engineering, electronic information, agronomy and other related majors (including successive undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs of study). During the period of postgraduate studies, excellent students will be recommended to attend the successive postgraduate and doctoral programs of study or the program jointly trained by Jilin University and other internationally renowned universities.
