Abstract : An optimization method of sound quality based on orthogonal test was proposed to improve sound quality inside vehicle. The frequency range of interior noise was divided according to ERB frequency domain and was considered to be a combination of several sub-bands; meanwhile, intensity of each sub-band noise can be modified to analyze itself influence on the sound quality of original noise. Orthogonal experiments of interior noise at different speeds were conducted by using design of experiment and the role of sub-band on sound quality was analyzed, and then excellent level, optimal combination
