Yi Li received his Ph.D. degree from Jilin University in 2006, and became a lecture in the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparative Chemistry, College of Chemistry, Jilin University. He was promoted to associate professor in 2009 and full professor in 2014. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Director of International Center of Future Science at Jilin University, Member of the Structure Commission of International Zeolite Association, and Advisory Board Member of Chemical Science. He has coauthored 100+ peer-reviewed papers in high-profile journals, such as Chem. Rev., Nat. Commun., Chem, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., etc. He received the Second Prize of National Natural Science Award in 2012 (the 4^th awardee) and the Excellent Young Scientists Fund (NSFC) in 2016. His research focuses on the cheminformatics of nanoporous functional materials, including high-throughput structure/property prediction of nanoporous materials, database development for nanoporous materials, and machine learning of the structure-property relationship and the reaction/formation mechanisms of nanoporous materials.
