Abstract:Three-dimensional spherical carbon / nickel foam composites have been prepared by using high temperature and high pressure hydrothermal methods and their energy storage as a non-adhesive supercapacitor electrode has been explored. The obtained electrodes exhibit an excellent capacitive behavior in KOH solutions, that is, low contact resistance, high specific capacitance (296 F•g-1), and good rate performance (82.7% retention at 10 A•g-1).
