Professor Zhou has successfully undertaken projects nearly 30 terms, which have been supported by the National Natural Science Fund committee, the National Significant Scientific and Technological Development Program for water contamination control and governance，National Environmental Protection Administration, Soil Environmental Quality Investigation Project of National Key Industry Enterprises，Geological Survey Program, Research Project for Oil Shale Exploration and Exploitation, Technology Development Project of Jilin Province, and others. In addition, she has published more than 50 academic journal papers, and more than 30 papers were included in SCI/EI journals , 2 academic work and 4 national invention patents. She has been awarded 4 prizes of the Progress Prize in science and technology also. In addition, Zhou is the outstanding young teacher of Jilin University, the experts for soil pollution investigation，assessment and remediation in Jilin Province, Henan Province and Shenzhen city in China.
