Abstract:Chiral fluorescent composite films of gold nanoclusters (AuNCs)
and photonic cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) demonstrate modulated
fluorescence emission due to the stopband- and band edge-
photoemission coupling effect between the photonic CNCs and
fluorescent AuNCs, showing promising potentials as fluorescent
nanosensors, optical switches and optical memory devices.
