Abstract : The automobile exterior noise was predicted by near-field acoustic holography (NAH) and spatial transformation of sound field (STSF) method. The basic theory of the spatial transformation of sound field was elaborated. A measuring system of near-field acoustic holography was constructed, and the error of the NAH measuring system was adjusted. The NAH data at the both sides of the vehicle were measured on a drum tester in a semi-anechoic room at the condition of Gear 2 and 55 km/h.
